Today I am sharing you this recipe of Skillet Honey Chicken. This recipe is very simple and easy to make. Perfect for a lazy day prep doesn’t require so many ingredients. Most of the ingredients are probably in your pantry already. I came up with this recipe because I wasn’t sure what to cook for dinner one night. Since my husband bought some chicken tenders I decided why make skillet honey chicken.

Adding honey to this recipe was a great idea, it complements all other ingredients. Skillet honey chicken is another recipe that my husband and kids approved and love. Yes, each time I cook something new or different I always ask them if it’s approve or nahh. Most of the time they gives me a lot of thumbs up. As all you all may know cooking is my comfort, I don’t know what is but when it comes to being my kitchen I just feel happy.

Mixing these ingredients are pretty simple, I also let my mixture marinate for about 15 minutes that way it gives the chicken enough time to soak all the flavor. The measurements I have here is just enough for all 4 of us. The skillet honey chicken would be perfect to pair with rice or even on the top of salad.

- 1 lb chicken tenders
- ¼ cup honey
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- ¼ tsp ground black pepper
- 4 tbsp dale sauce (optional), Worcestershire sauce works too.)
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- In the bowl where the chicken at, add all the ingredients. Mix well until all the flavors are well combined and let it marinated for about 15 minutes. (You can marinate this chicken overnight or for about 3 hours if you have enough time.)
- In the big skillet, add the oil. Once the oil is ready, slowly add the chicken one at a time. (Do not include the juice.)
- Let the chicken cook for 10 minutes on each side. When it’s done, let the chicken sit for about 5 minutes.
- Serve with rice or vegetables. Enjoy.
