Ground Meat with Veggies

Today I am going to share you this recipe that my step-daughter made up. She has been cooking this for a long time before I was pregnant of my first child. She called this as “Lexi Special” loaded with ground meat and vegetables and some awesome spice.

She always cuts everything in small pieces that way it’s easy to eat it.

  1. 1 cup of carrots
  2. 1 cup of mushroom
  3. 1 cup of celery
  4. 1/4 cup of jalapeno
  5. 1/2 teaspoon of any spice you want to use
  6. 1/2 teaspoon of oyster sauce
  7. 1 bag of chips
  8. salt & pepper to taste

Brown the meat in the skillet (here we are using ground turkey)
These are the choices of spice that she use.  She doesn’t measure them because she just sprinkle.  I would say about 1/2 teaspoon of each spice is what you gonna use.  1 teaspoon of the oyster sauce.
I got these colored chips from Aldi, they are delicious and perfect for scooping.
Then she prepare this basmati brown rice that we got from Aldi as well to go with the dish.

Very easy to make with your kids because the ingredients are so simple and kids friendly.  Let me know if you try this recipe.  Thank you all for stopping by here in my blog.
