One Week Meal Planning

My husband and I are busy people, we work a lot of hours.  Sometimes at the end of the day we don’t feel like doing anything but sit down and relax.  So I decided to start doing “One Week Meal Planning”.  I do this all the time, and it really help us both.  We don’t have to worry about what to cook and everything.  Last Sunday I made different meal and side.  I cook different recipes that will last us for a week or so.

Sometimes we end-up putting the rest in the freezer, but this time it’s just enough to be inside the Fridge and heat up.  I don’t think we will have anything to be put in the freezer. Anyway, let me show you what I have cooked on Sunday.

If you have any recipe that you would like to share feel free to leave down below in the comments box.  Thank you all.

  1. I can barely do one day planning…so one week is a stretch for me. BUT, I do want to try it. I tend to go the grocery store at least 5x a week! oy!!

  2. I think one-week meal planning is such a great idea! Me and my mam have a cooking day on Sunday’s and cook lots of stuff up like stews and pasta sauces to freeze so we can help ourselves. It also means that if we don’t use them that week, then it’s something for another day!

  3. Meal prepping has saved my life! I have so little time now, so cooking stuff on Sunday and then throwing it in the fridge, really helps me. I love anything in the Crockpot!

  4. I would have liked to see a pic of those meals. Anyways that a great plan that you and hubby came up with. It works for me. I cook all my food on Sundays and put aside for the week. Being a career person just doesn’t allow me time every evening to be in the kitchen for hours cooking lol.

  5. You know I started subscribing to Plated and Sun Basket because I got so tired of ordering groceries and not knowing what to do with them. This way we eat well, blanced meals and things that I would never usually cook! Check it out!

  6. Meal prepping saved my life and my wallet!! I eat healthier now because of it! And I rarely if ever spend money at restaurants or coffee shops! Great post!!
