Turkey Meatloaf with Veggies

Today I am sharing you this healthy Turkey Meatloaf with Veggies recipe that is full of flavor.  You will be surprised the taste of this meatloaf after it’s cooked.  It’s very easy and very healthy as well.  This is one of the meal I prepared on my weekly meal prep to lose weight.  We all know that turkey meat doesn’t really have much flavor going on. However, by adding few ingredients, spices and sauce it definitely help bring the flavor The cooking time on this recipe is about 45 to one hour.

This turkey meatloaf with veggies really surprised me after it was cooked. In the past cooking ground turkey is always end taste like it needs more flavor or something.  However, this meatloaf with all the ingredients that is included to this loaf it brings all the flavors, and the inside is very moist.

Ingredients
Sauteed Vegetables
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 2 stack celery chopped or cubes
  • ½ cup onions chopped
  • 1 medium size carrots cut in cube
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 3 gloves garlic chopped
For the Sauce
  • 1 tsp hot sauce
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp honey
Turkey Mix (Uncooked Mixture)
  • 1 ½ lbs turkey
  • 1 tbsp parsley
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire
Servings: people
Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degree
  2. Pre-heat your skillet into medium heat, then pour your olive oil.
  3. Once the oil is hot, add all your vegetables and onions. Do not add the garlic yet, we will add the garlic when we have minutes left on our time.
  4. On 7 minutes of cooking add your garlic and cook for another 3 minutes.
  5. Removed from the heat and let it cool down.
  6. Mean while in a different bowl add the turkey, parsley, pepper, egg, ketchup, cumin, salt, and Worcestershire
  7. When the vegetables is cool down, pour it over the turkey mixture.
  8. Mixed it well using your hand.
  9. Add it the pan that is already spray with olive oil.
  10. Once you finish putting the mixture in the pan. Top it with your sauce mixture. And baked this for about 45 minutes to an hour.
  11. Serve this with brown rice or vegetable.
