Keto Ground Beef Florentine Scramble

Lately, I’ve noticed that the Keto diet has become more popular. If you are not familiar with the Keto diet, it’s a low-carb, with a high-fat diet that offers a lot of health benefits. It amazed me how much weight they lose doing this diet. One of our friends is doing this diet and we are blown away at how much weight he lost.

Keto diet is something that my husband and I were talking on trying. I’ve found a lot of Keto recipes on Youtube and Online lately. Today I’m sharing you this Keto Ground Beef Florentine Scramble, that I know you all will enjoy. The ingredients are pretty simple and easy to make.

Ingredients
  • 8 oz Ground Beef
  • 4 Large eggs, Beaten
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cup Baby Spinach
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 3 Cloves minced garlic
  • 1 tsp Basil
  • 4 tbsp Parmesan cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste
Servings: people
Instructions
  1. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Once the oil is heated, add in the chopped onion and cook for 2-3 minutes until they begin to soften and turn brown
  3. Add the ground beef into the skillet with the onions, and stir to combine. Continue to cook and stir until the ground beef is browned completely.
  4. Mix in 1 teaspoon of basil, garlic and add salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Stir in 4 cups of baby spinach. Continue to stir it into the mixture until the spinach has just wilted.
  6. Pour 4-5 beaten eggs over the mixture in the skillet, and scramble until cooked through.
  7. Portion out the ground beef florentine scramble, and top each of the 4 portions with 1 tablespoon of Parmesan cheese.

  1. A friend of mine shared a similar recipe with me, but using ground turkey since I don’t eat beef. This looks like it could be a great recipe for breakfast or dinner!
