This Chicken Siomai Recipe is so simple, easy and delicious. My husband loves easing Chicken Siomai, it’s one of his favorites to order whenever we go eat at any Asian Restaurant. What I love about this Chicken Siomai Recipe is that the ingredients I used are good for your body. This meal is very healthy, and can be eaten as is or with dipping sauce. Since this was my husband favorite I thought I’d surprise him by making it for his dinner. I would say I was pretty nervous because it was my first time making it at home from scratch.
Most of the time we just buy the one in the bag that is frozen and ready to go. And all we have to do is put in our steamer and wait for the timer to ring. Store bought isn’t bad either but I love making it at home now. I have made this recipe twice already, one is with beef and it turns out delicious as well. Making this from scratch at home is definitely worth it. It took me about 15 to 20 minutes from prep to wrapping the siomai. I showed on my video how I wrap the siomai as well.
The ingredients are pretty much something that you already have in your house. Chicken siomai recipe is everywhere on the internet, but you can make your own and use ingredients that you like. Most people use shrimp and port mix together, some do use just pork. On the vegetables, I’ve seen some use cabbage as well which I might be trying soon.
