It’s also a great source of dietary fiber, vitamin a, vitamin c, thiamin, and more. Growing up my mom always boiled sweet potato leaves and make a salad out of it.

I had beef mami a long time ago back when I was living in Texas. My friend took me to this little place which I called the china town of Texas. Just everywhere you turn around there is Asian store. Although, you can pretty much have this all year around not just in the winter really. Back when I was living in the Philippines we make soups all the time even it’s super hot outside. Chicken Sotanghon Soup is a Filipino soup that is recognized as a therapeutic dish to have especially when you have a cold and flu. This soup comfort you whenever you don’t feel good. Here in the US most of my friends make this soup on a winter day. When it’s cold outside, this soup is perfect to have in your house. This is similar to the chicken noodles soup, however, it uses a different kind of noodles. Instead of using the big thin noodles we use the rice noodles.
Chicken Sotanghon Soup is full of so many flavors. There are different variation way to make this soup. On this recipe I made, I use one whole chicken and just cut it into pieces. I also use three boneless chicken breast that I cut into bite pieces for my husband. French Onion Soup is one of my favorites to have during winter time, Although you can also eat this in the summertime, however, this is very comforting in a cold weather. I know a lot of restaurants offer French Onion Soup, however making it at home is fantastic. This kind of soup is perfect to have around holiday gathering. Since it’s been cold here in Alabama, my husband and kids have been loving the soup I have been making for them.
Finally, it’s winter weather here in our end. I have made a lot of soup and the leftover I packed in an airtight Tupperware and put it in the freezer. It’s not hard to find a Chicken Noodle Soup Recipe online, there are so many varieties on how to make chicken soup. My husband and the kids have been feeling blah lately, I guess it’s because of the cold weather. So I decided to make them a chicken soup noodle but I added few ingredients on this recipe. I also used a different kind of noodle which I believed from Aldi store. I wish I would have remembered where I bought the noodles because it was a perfect noodle to use.
Chicken soup is one of our favorites to have around the house especially on cold season. For some reason when it’s cold outside chicken soup or any soup seems to feel us very comfortable. This chicken noodle soup recipe I made wasn’t planned at all, I just put them together and wasn’t really sure how it’s going to taste. However, I was very surprised once it was all finished, the flavor was just amazing. With the cabbage and tomato added it was just delicious.
This chicken noodle soup recipe is definitely something that I am gonna keep making. On this recipe I used chicken breast only, however, you are welcome to use thighs or legs.
