Today I am sharing you this Baked Tilapia & Veggies recipe, which I have made the other night for our dinner. If you have notice all we eat here in the house is either chicken, ground turkey meat or fish. That is because my husband cannot have any or eat anything with pork or beef. So I always improvise when it’s comes to cooking, sometimes I have to create recipes that won’t be the same as my other recipe. To offer different taste for my husband and kids.
This baked tilapia & veggies recipe is very easy, no supervision needed while it’s cooking and it’s very healthy as well. If you are watching what you eat each day, remember to eat fish once to twice a week. It’s very good for you, I have read that it’s good to eat fish on Monday that is because it’s the first day of the week and you are most likely stress at work. In our house I always baked fish once or twice a week depends on what my husband and kids wants.
What to do with leftover chicken? I know that sometimes we always have the days where we have so many leftovers in our fridge and we just don’t’ know what to do with it. The other night as I was planning for dinner, I was wondering myself on what to prepare for dinner. Since I have some leftover chicken in the fridge I decided to create a recipe that won’t take me a long time to prepare. This recipe is very simple and easy, and it doesn’t require a lot of your time. You can even prepare this ahead of time, or make it a mother & daughter time in the kitchen.
This recipe doesn’t just apply to your leftover chicken. You can use this method with any leftover you have such as turkey, beef or even make this as a vegetarian.
Today I am going to share you this recipe that my step-daughter made up. She has been cooking this for a long time before I was pregnant of my first child. She called this as “Lexi Special” loaded with ground meat and vegetables and some awesome spice.
Stuffed Bell Peppers with Turkey 7 Cauliflower is a very easy recipe to make and so delicious. Instead of using rice I decided to use cauliflower to make it healthier. I know there are many variations recipe out there using bell peppers. However, you can always create something different to be different from the rest. On this recipe, you can also use brown rice if you don’t want to use the cauliflower. But I must say the cauliflower is amazing, it added a nice flavor to this dish.
The ingredients that I used in this recipe are not hard to find. To make this even better you can also use ginger, at that time I made this recipe I was completely out of ginger.
I also use three different kinds of cheese, it’s just my preferences. You can use whatever cheese you want. The combination of these three cheese was delicious. I didn’t really intend to add the swiss but since I have some leftovers from the previous cooking I made, I have decided to use it. Read more
