Breakfast at Cracker Barrel

Breakfast at Cracker Barrel is what we do every Sunday, especially when I don’t feel like cooking in the morning.  I told my husband that I think we need to take the kids and have a breakfast date with them.  We asked both of the kids where they wanted to go and they both said Cracker Barrel. Cracker Barrel is a very nice place to have breakfast, that is because of the vibes it gives you.  Although sometimes eating at the restaurant can be annoying because of the server.  However, at cracker barrel, we always get an awesome server.

We didn’t order a lot of food, my husband figures us already.  He always tell us, I don’t have to order a big meal because I know between three girls I will end-up finishing all your food.  Which is true you know because there are times that my step-daughter and  I always order a big meal.  Then add to that our daughter Charlotte.  So at the end of our breakfast, he will end up with half of our meal.

My step-daughter order their delicious breakfast that comes with scrambled eggs, hashbrown, ham, sausage, and apples.  It even comes with gravy biscuit, grits, and other food.  Yeah, she was pretty hungry and I was very impressed that she ate most of it. Our daughter Charlotte ordered scrambled eggs and bread.  It wasn’t much because that’s all she was asking.

They have the best gravy and grits ever.  I was very surprised that even our daughter Charlotte ate some of her sister food.  Cracker Barrel is one of our favorite place to eat during breakfast. They have delicious coffee, great servers, and clean place. So each time we go out for breakfast we already know where the kids want to eat.

For my food, I ordered scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, grits, mix fruits, and tomatoes. My husband ordered just a single gravy biscuits.  And of course, when our food was served he was also tasting our food.  So at the end of our breakfast, he was pretty full and we ate all of our food. Breakfast at Cracker Barrel is one of what we do as a family date in the morning.  We normally do it every Sunday since that is our off day.  We do it on Saturday as well but not often because of our work schedule.

  1. I have not been to Cracker Barrel in ages. I really enjoyed an egg casserole they used to make. I can’t remember what it was called. Overtime we would go we would enjoy the little games at the table and the checkers set up by the fireplace.

  2. I love cracker barrell for breakfast, although we dont have that restaurant here in NY. we always go though when we are down south. love the grits. You can get breakfast anytime. I feel like on the weekends, though the lines can be very long!
