Waking up at 7am! Ellie Moore

Hello everyone, today I am sharing this awesome post Waking up at 7am! Ellie Moore, from one of mom blogger online that I collaborated.

Hey there guys.

I’m going to tell you a little bit about my day-to-day life.

At the moment I am working within the Social Media & Digital Marketing sector. My morning normally consists of my alarm waking me up at around 7 am (I usually ignore it and go back to sleep). When I finally get out of bed I choose my outfit, have a wash, do my make-up, sort out my hair and go downstairs.

I don’t eat breakfast. I know it’s bad and I know I should but I really don’t like eating in the morning. I usually then grab a cup of coffee and just sit down until it is time for me to leave.

I don’t drive at the moment, so I have to get the bus to work every day. I leave my house at 8:10 am, and start work at 9 am.

I do my normal days work and leave at 6 pm. When I get home I usually cook dinner for my whole family, then clean up afterwards. By the time I get home I am ready to go back to bed, but I know that even just by cooking dinner, it helps my parent out a lot.

Waking up at 7 am is a struggle for me because I really love my sleep, but I also love my job. I don’t wake up every morning and dread the day ahead. I go to work with high spirits and every day I tell my colleagues that the day is going to be a good day!

Positivity is key, as it’s what gets me through a long day at work.

How do you guys deal with mornings? Are you like me and don’t want to move out of bed, or are you a morning person? I know that I definitely am not as I love my bed too much!

  1. Positivity is key to an early morning wake up – that and coffee! I get up at 6am every day and while it’s always tough when that alarm goes off, if I sleep in and get up later then I feel like my whole day is off.

  2. It’s funny you mention this! It’s currently morning right now for me & I’m still laying in bed trying to keep my eyes open & out of falling back into they’re sleepy daze! I’m really bad at staying up late into the night, as I work most late nights which doesn’t really help in the slightest! I would love to be able to get up and tackle the day bright & early to feel more productive & proactive! It’s definitely a work in progress for me!

  3. I don’t like getting up that early either. I really want to sleep in usually. I have to wake myself up around 7 every morning though, so that I can be with my 18-month-old. I try to stay positive about it and it sometimes works, sometime doesn’t.

  4. For me, getting up early is a behavior I have to condition myself to. I find that waking up early the first few days is always really rough, but after that you get used to it. I am much more productive throughout the day if I wake up before 8. If I sleep much later than that, I find myself hitting snooze 50 times before actually getting up. Great post!

  5. I hate mornings but know they are so crucial to a productive day. I am working on getting up earlier! This was a great post. Good to know many people struggle with the same thing!

    1. I am the same way, but now since the school year is about to be over. I have been getting up very early in the morning, it’s a must. But in the other side, I really need to start getting up early in the morning so I will have a lot done by the end of the day.
