Anna’s Recipe Of The Day “Ground Beef With Vegetables”

OK it’s been awhile since the last time I posted my cooking ingredients here. Well the reason why, it’s because I have been so busy doing things all together. Yeah I’ve been driving alot since Monday. Which I really love so much…Gosh I’m addicted when it comes to driving.

Anyway, today I decided to make a nice lunch for me, my honey Dave and for my stepson. Wasn’t really sure what to cook though. So I open the refrigerator and there I found the meat for my recipe for today.
Here are my ingredients:

2 lbs. ground beef
2.5 tbsp soy sauce (for marinate)
1 tsp vinegar (for marinate)
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp pepper
5 beef cubes
2 tbsp white cooking wine
3 tbsp ketchup
2 tbsp flour
1/4 cup water
2 cups carrots (sliced thin)
2 celery
2 cloves garlic
1 small onions
1 cup sprout
2 green onions
1 can (227g) tomato sauce

Here’s How I Cooked It:

1. Marinate the ground beef with the 2.5 tbsp soy sauce including the 1/2 vinegar.
2. Let is marinate for 30 minutes. Just so you all know when I marinate the ground beef I didn’t put alot of soy sauce and vinegar. I put exactly the measurement I have listed here.
3. Heat the frying pan, add the oil.
4. When the oil is hot enough add the garlic then the onions.
5. Add the ground beef mix it for awhile then add the 2tbsp of soy sauce.
6. Let is cook for 15 minutes.
7. After 15 minutes add all the ingredients and stir.
8. Cooked if for 10 minutes.
9. Served it with your yummy rice and wallllllaa stomach is happy.

I wasn’t sure about this recipe today. Because I just mix everything, no recipe book whatsoever in front of me. But I’m sure glad it turns out really good and my Dave and Son John really loves it. In this pictures the meat is still read cause I just put is in the frying pan. As you all can see all i have it just the onion and the meat but boy oh boy it sure smells yummy already.
I don’t know why, but when it comes to cooking I always have fun and I’m happy doing it. It’s a wonderful feeling knowing that someone appreciate your cooking.

When my step-son tasted the food today. He said that I’m really is a good cooked. I just smiled to him and said thank you. I was blushing a little bit thought. Plus my honey Dave love it too and we eat most of it.
And when it was done cooking this is how it look inside the frying pan. Hmmmmm yummy I really love the taste of it. The wine made the different. Just so you all know, you don’t have to follow the ingredients I have written in here.
You are free to change the ingredients. Cooked food that are enough for your people or family. The food I made this lunch was enough for 3 of us. And we even have a little bit till night. Were slow eaters you know hehehhe.

Yeah Dave have the rest of the left-over during dinner. Since I wasn’t home during dinner that’s what he ate. For me It was really good and I even love it. Well I really didn’t have fun eating since I have sore in my mouth grrrrrrrr. I bite it couple days ago while eating now, it’s swelling and painful, so I have to be careful when I eat something.. Because it’s really painful, I hope it will feel better soon though. This is how it looks after I transfer it to the Tupperware. Getting it ready for work for the lunch.

I guess you noticed that I have sprinkled green onion leave on the top. Yeah I did that to make it looks nicer I guess hehehehe.. It’s just my idea alright don’t do it if you don’t want it.
